1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, scheduling, or otherwise using the services of TrueNorth Relocations Inc. (“the Company”), the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Definitions

• Company: TrueNorth Relocations Inc.
• Customer: Any individual or entity engaging the Company.
• Goods: All property entrusted to the Company.
• Services: Moving, packing, storage, transportation, and related services.

3. Scope of Services

The Company provides residential and commercial moving, packing, unpacking, storage, specialty item handling, and interprovincial relocation services.

4. Quotes & Estimates

Estimates may be binding or non‑binding. Final charges shall not exceed the estimate by more than 10% unless prior written approval is provided.

5. Booking & Cancellations

• More than 72 hours: Full deposit refund
• Within 72 hours: Up to 50% cancellation fee
• Same‑day/no‑show: Deposit forfeited

6. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for accurate inventory disclosure, permits, access arrangements, and disclosure of high‑value items.

7. Prohibited Items

The Company will not transport hazardous materials, perishables, live animals, illegal items, cash, jewelry, or undisclosed firearms.

8. Liability & Protection

Standard liability is limited to $0.60 per pound per item unless Full Replacement Value Protection is purchased.

9. Claims

Claims must be filed in writing within 30 days of delivery with supporting documentation.

10. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion. The Company maintains a lien on Goods until payment is received.

11. Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable Canadian privacy laws.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.
